"Absolutely loved the starter course and am definitely going to the continuation course. Anna makes learning the language fun and informative and any thoughts of feeling embarrassed, actually speaking it in front of people you've only just met, are very quickly swept away. After only 10 weeks of learning, my breadth of vocabulary is amazing. Great teacher!"
"As you pass through education, your experience is marked by the intervention of a few teachers. Teachers who serve as pillars of inspiration and who instill passion in their subject by dint of their own passion. When you enter their classroom, the atmosphere changes as though electrified. Anna Blakemore is one such teacher - her dedication, intelligence, and humour combined to inspire my love of German and my decision to study it at University. Loved by colleagues and students, I know that any student of hers is set for a rich learning experience - one that will persevere with them for life."

"I am a Year 6 teacher where Anna came to deliver French lessons. The lessons were exciting, interactive and informative. She used current technology to support the children's learning and made the learning fun. Anna also adapted her teaching to support an autistic child and when he left our school he said: "I enjoyed the French lessons with Miss Blakemore the best!". Anna was enthusiastic about the language and brought the learning to life through role plays and food sampling. I would highly recommend her as a language teacher."

"My husband and I attended Anna’s Spanish for beginners class in Burley in Wharfedale. Anna makes each lesson a fun learning experience. We both thoroughly enjoyed the course and I would highly recommend Anna as a teacher, for anyone wanting to learn a new language or brush up on their skills."
"My last day in mainstream teaching...but that means that I’m all yours for fun, engaging and informative language classes & tuition. I’m LEAPING into languages in a different way now, even though it’s sad to leave many fabulous students behind, who have been so kind to me with their generous leaving gifts. This Year 12 student wrote a beautiful note..."
“I was fortunate enough to have Anna visiting my class to teach Spanish on a weekly basis for 2 years. As a stimulus and motivational tool to set up the children for Spanish teaching at High School, it could not have been better. Her lessons were a firm favourite for the class and they always reminded me when she was due in. Anna has a very bubbly and effusive manner, which is infectious when she teaches. From her obvious love of languages, she manages to share this love with children who then relish going to High School to learn more. There is no time to get bored and she varies her tone and style depending on the content, so there are no two lessons the same. She mixes humour into her direct approach which helps children remember key information and make learning memorable. My only problem with Anna was having to teach the children after she had left, as they were often left wanting more!”
