Service Description

Beginners / Holiday Spanish classes are suitable for complete beginners who want to enjoy learning the basics or those wanting to refresh their Spanish in a structured way. Get by as a tourist in a Spanish speaking country, from ordering tapas in a restaurant, buying an ice-cream on the beach or booking an excursion! You will focus on the following areas: 1. Greetings, Formalities & Personal Information 2. Ordering Food & Drink 3. Time, Travel & Transport 4. Places in Town & Directions 5. Booking & Describing Hotel Accommodation The cost is £135 per person for 10 x 1 hour lessons; a £45 deposit is payable on booking to secure your place, with the remaining amount of £90 payable by 4th September 2026 (flexible payments possible). The Class is delivered by Fenella, a very experienced and qualified teacher of several languages with 35 years teaching experience. Lessons will take place at The Red Lion in Burley-in-Wharfedale on Main Street. NB: There are 10 sessions in total over 11 weeks with a break on the 28th October for half term; the last lesson before the summer break is on 2nd December.
