Service Description

Developers 2 German classes are suitable for those who have knowledge of the present tense, know how to give opinions using 'gern & nicht gern' and can use modal verbs to say what you 'can/must/want' to do around town. You will learn how to use modals in a different situation to get by at the doctors & to talk about healthy living. In addition, you will learn how to form the perfect past tense to talk about a holiday, so you can have a simple conversation with a native German speaker about what you did. The course covers the following: 1. Revision of talking about Yourself / Personality 2. Recap of Free-time and ‘gern/nicht gern’ 3. Intro to the Past Tense – Talking about holidays 4. Parts of the body, Illnesses & at the doctor’s 5. Healthy living – recap of Tenses/food/drink/sport The cost is £135 per person for 10 x 1 hour lessons; a £45 deposit is payable on booking to secure your place, with the remaining amount of £90 payable by 4th September 2026 (flexible payments possible). Lessons take place at my house in a purpose built office in Burley-in-Wharfedale, taught by me, a qualified languages teacher with 27 years experience. NB: There are 10 sessions in total over 11 weeks, with a break on 29th October for half term; the last lesson is on 3rd December.
