Service Description

Developers 1 Spanish classes are suitable for those who have a basic knowledge of Spanish e.g. you can introduce yourself and get by as a tourist. You will learn how to form the present tense, talk about future plans and discuss your free-time interests, as well as give opinions. This will enable you to have a simple conversation with a native Spanish speaker about your likes and dislikes. The course content is as follows: 1. Recap and warm-up activities 2. Weather, Frequency Words & Seasons 3. The Present Tense 4. Likes & Dislikes with Free-time Activities 5. The Near Future - What you are going to do 6. Modal Verbs – Talking about town & making plans in a city The cost is £135 per person for 10 x 1 hour lessons; a £45 deposit is payable on booking to secure your place, with the remaining amount of £90 payable by 4th September 2026 (flexible payments possible). The Class is delivered by Anna, a supportive, innovative & qualified teacher with 27 years experience. Lessons will take place at St Mary’s Parish Centre in Burley-in-Wharfedale on Station Road; there is also the option to 'zoom in' or watch a recording of the lesson if you are absent. NB: There are 10 sessions in total over 11 weeks with a break on the 27th October for half term; the last lesson before the Xmas break is on 1st December.
