Service Description

This more advanced structured conversation Spanish class is suitable for those who have a good knowledge of the present, future & past tenses and are confident to chat about current affairs in the Spanish-speaking world or topical issues in the news with some fluency. This is around the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages OR equivalent to the first year of A-level. The group follows a B1 Spanish textbook to structure the lessons. If you're a bit rusty, you will revise these key tenses and go over other key grammar to remind you of core vocabulary structures, adjective endings and other essential information. In addition, you will learn some great higher level phrases & structures to make you sound like a native; this course is all about the speaking and using more authentic materials and websites! The cost is £135 per person for 10 x 1 hour lessons; a £45 deposit is payable on booking to secure your place, with the remaining amount of £90 payable by 4th September 2026 (flexible payments possible). Lessons take place at St. Mary's Parish Centre in Burley in Wharfedale; there is also the opportunity to 'Zoom in' for a hybrid lesson!
